Yes, all our pieces are suitable for indoors and outdoors. All the wall arts that are made from Corten or Aluminium are designed to withstand outdoor conditions. Some of our intricate designs like Ribbon and Sea Urchin Wire Wall Art are made from Galvanised Wire and Powder Coated for extra protection. However, if you are in a coastal area, we recommend that you seal the piece periodically with a clear sealant to to help preserve the finish and extend the life of the artwork.
Our metal wall art is designed to be straightforward to install while remaining securely fixed to the wall.
Square and rectangular Corten steel and aluminium wall art is made with folded edges and a return fold along the top. We supply mounting brackets with the artwork, allowing the piece to be securely hung while sitting neatly against the wall.
Our intricate wire wall art has mounting feet welded to the back and is supplied with the required Allen key for installation.
Free-form decorative wall art without folded edges is installed using stand-off brackets. These brackets are finished to match the artwork, helping them blend into the design while creating a small offset between the artwork and the wall.
The appropriate fixings will depend on the wall surface, so we recommend using fasteners suitable for your specific wall type.
The weight of metal wall art depends on its size, design and material. For our standard designs, the approximate weight is listed on each product page under the specifications section.
As a general guide, most intricate wire artworks and aluminium wall art pieces weigh less than 10 kg. Larger pieces and artworks made from steel may be heavier.
For custom metal wall art, we can calculate and confirm the estimated weight once the design, dimensions and material have been finalised.
Our maximum sheet size for steel projects is 1500x3000mm per sheet. Some designs do lend themselves for a concealed join if required

In most cases, varying the design will result in minimal variations in price. Although reducing the size of the design usually means the material (sheet size) remains the same. Customising would mean the cost of creating a new template, changes in laser cutting time, and re-formatting our machines usually contributes to a resize fee
We can modify by re-scaling, re-sizing, adding signage / script etc. Framing is also an additional service, as is creating designs with folded sides, lighting, finish colour options & perspex. For designs supplied to Entanglements by the client, refer to Section 7 of Terms & Conditions
Careful consideration needs to be made before customising a product, once the design is sign off for your approval, there will be no refund or warrantee.
Each product has its own unique character and finish. The colour variations are part of the intentional design and, being an organic process, it cannot be controlled.
All designs vary according to intricacy and negative/positive space, and if framing is necessary. As a guide, we suggest a solid 3mm mild steel sheet weighs 23Kgs per mtr..
'Bob' runs on bio-degradable Ethanol fuel, which produces smoke-free, clean air. Depending on outdoor conditions, 'Bob' runs 8 hrs on a single tank of Ethanol.

Local deliveries are notified before dispatch to confirm a suitable delivery time slot. Rural, interstate & international deliveries are dispatched using Allied Express. A CON note is supplied for Track & Trace on our courier's website. It is Allied Express' procedure to send an SMS to the receiver confirming delivery.
Please ensure when taking delivery to check the packaging has not been damaged in transit, if damaged, do not take delivery and return the package with the driver. If the driver ont take the package, write damaged and dont sign.
Yes, we regularly ship interstate with Allied Express. You are welcome to source an independent quote to compare. If you select your own courier, packaging fees will apply. Entanglements must be notified of damages as a result of freight within 24hrs. You must not accept goods damaged in transit.

We recommend that you use the top and bottom hanging brackets we supply, please consider the weight of your piece when hanging also please consider the conditions of the area, as your artwork may need to be secured for windy conditions. Flat screens generally have 50mm or 100mm wall mounted feet to attach. Dyna bolting holes can be drilled into the freestanding tabs to secure if necessary. Further options may be available upon request. We recommend that you use a professional handyman or builder to install. We do not do installations.
All Sculptures should be bolted to plinths and concreted in with no water pooling around the base.
