Our rust-finish pieces are sealed once the surface has developed an even patina, which helps preventrust runoff and staining.

However, exposure to rain, UV and changing weather conditions can gradually break down the protective sealant over time. If the coating wears away, some rust runoff or staining may occur, particularly on light-coloured walls, paving or other porous surfaces.

For outdoor installations, we recommend periodically resealing the artwork with a suitable clear protective coating to help preserve the finish and minimise staining. Where appropriate, the piece can also be installed slightly away from the wall using stand-off brackets to provide additional protection.

All of our products are finished and prepared for their intended use before dispatch, and care instructions are provided with your order. Outdoor pieces will naturally be exposed to sunlight, rain, moisture and changing weather conditions, so periodic cleaning or resealing may be recommended to help preserve the finish and extend the life of the piece.

Corten steel and other sealed finishes may require occasional resealing, while powder-coated surfaces should be cleaned periodically with fresh water and a mild detergent. Timber components may also require re-oiling or resealing over time.

Pieces installed in coastal, high-exposure or heavily used areas may require more frequent maintenance. Please refer to the care instructions supplied with your order or contact us if you are unsure about the best way to maintain your piece.

The higher amount of detail to be cut, whether folded sides are necessary, framing, and premium finish options such as stainless steel & powder coating all contribute to increased costs.

We offer a range of options to suit many colours. These include: stainless #316, powder coat, Galvanised plate, or our signature Natural Rust finish and corten.

although our range and custom designs are designed for the outdoors, there is no warrantee on colours and finishing due to them being exposed the elements.

Powder Coating

Care & Maintenance:

The effects of ultra violet light, pollution, dirt, grime and salt deposits can all accumulate on your powder coated surface over time. To extend the effective life of powder coating and protect any warranty requirements that may exist, a very simple regular maintenance program should be implemented for the removal of any residues.

As a general rule, cleaning should take place every six months. However, in areas where pollutants are more prevalent, especially in coastal or industrial regions, a cleaning program should be carried out on a more frequent basis (i.e. every three months - clean any salt resedue that may settle on the surfaces).

To clean your powder coated surface:

1. Carefully remove any loose deposits with a wet sponge
2. Use a soft brush (non abrasive) or cloth, and a mild household detergent solution to remove dust, salt and other deposits.
3. Rinse off with fresh water

Detergents that recommend the use of gloves when handling should be avoided as this is a good indication that the detergent is harsh and therefore, unsuitable for cleaning your powder coating.

Although some strong solvents are recommended for removing sealants or other building residues, these may be harmful to the extended life of the powder coated surface and should be avoided as the damage may not be visible immediately and may take up to twelve months to appear. Rust finish care instructions:

Each rust product has its own unique character and natural finish. The colour variations are part of the intentional design and being an organic process, it cannot be controlled.
- Exposure to the elements and environment will cause changes and a continuation of the rusting process, to slow this down, we recommend a small degree of maintenance. This involves a spray-on coat of Penetrol when needed which can be purchased from any hardware store.
- Please note that harsh weather conditions may cause running. We disclaim all responsibility of damages that may have been as a result of rust development.

Stainless steel finish care instructions:

Stainless steels are easily
cleaned by many different methods. They actually thrive with frequent cleaning, and, unlike some other materials, it is impossible to "wear out" stainless steel by excessive
cleaning. The effect of surface/pattern roughness, grain/pattern orientation, and designs that allow for maximum rain cleaning (exterior applications) should be considered.

Clean Water and Wipe -The simplest, safest,and least costly method that will adequatelydo the job is always the best method.Stainless surfaces thrive with frequent cleaning because there is no surface coating to wear off stainless steels. A soft cloth and clean warm water should always be the first choice for mild stains and loose dirt and soils. A final rinse with clean water and a dry wipe will complete the process and eliminate the possibility of water stains.

In most cases, varying the design will result in minimal variations in price. Although reducing the size of the design usually means the material (sheet size) remains the same. Customising would mean the cost of creating a new template, changes in laser cutting time, and re-formatting our machines usually contributes to a resize fee

Depending on the product, we can often customise the size, material, colour, finish, pattern, fixing method and other design details. We can also modify many of our existing designs or develop a completely custom piece based on your ideas.

Some designs have limitations due to the way they are fabricated, moulded or engineered, so not every element can always be changed.

If you have something specific in mind, please send us your preferred dimensions, finish, location and any reference images or drawings. We can then advise what is possible and provide a custom quote where required.

If your order is sent with a specialist furniture delivery company, you will receive a dispatch notification email once the driver has collected your order. This email will include the driver’s contact details. The driver will then call or text the delivery contact provided on your order to arrange delivery once they are in your area.

If your order is sent with a general freight carrier, you will receive a tracking link with your dispatch notification email so you can follow the progress of your delivery.

When your order arrives, please inspect the packaging carefully before accepting delivery. If there are clear signs that the packaging or item has been damaged in transit, we recommend refusing delivery where possible and asking the driver to return the shipment.

If the driver is unable or unwilling to take the shipment back, please clearly note “DAMAGED” on the delivery documentation or electronic proof of delivery. Do not sign to confirm that the goods were received in good condition if there is visible damage.

We also recommend taking photographs of any damaged packaging before opening the shipment and contacting us as soon as possible so we can assist with the next steps.

Yes, we regularly deliver our metal art, sculptures, furniture and other pieces throughout Australia.

Where possible, larger or more delicate pieces are transported using specialist furniture delivery companies. This allows the artwork to be handled with greater care and often reduces the amount of packaging required.

For smaller items, remote locations, or areas where a specialist furniture delivery service is unavailable or not cost-effective, we may use a general freight carrier such as TNT. Depending on the size and nature of the piece, additional protective packaging, a pallet or a custom crate may be required.

When you enquire or place an order, we will assess the size, weight and delivery location and recommend the safest and most suitable delivery method. Delivery costs are quoted based on the individual order and destination.
