Delivery Costs and Instructions

Entanglements have been shipping our sculptures and designs all over Australia and the world for the last 20 years. Our pieces can be quite large and unique, so they often require a refined delivery service, which may include custom fitted crates.

Entanglements put as much care into our packaging as we do into our designs to minimise damage during freight. We schedule deliveries weekly to Melbourne Metro destinations, interstate and even internationally. 

Custom made and made-to-order designs will take 6 – 8 weeks before we arrange shipping. The completion date can be found on your order confirmation. When your order is ready, you will be given a call to arrange delivery. We will email you a tracking code and the contact details of the courier company, so you can conveniently track your consignment and contact the company with any transport queries. 

At Entanglements, we prioritize both customer convenience and environmental sustainability. For large and heavy pieces, we use a furniture delivery company whenever possible. This approach allows us to avoid using crates, which not only reduces shipping costs but also saves customers the hassle of crate disposal. Furniture delivery is ideal for our large, often heavy and uniquely shaped pieces, as it typically includes a two-person delivery team for safe and efficient handling. This method is a more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional courier services and ensures your order is delivered securely and responsibly. 

For smaller, lighter items, we use a courier service where possible to streamline shipping. You’ll receive a consignment note to track your order directly on the courier's website.

Local deliveries are notified before dispatch to confirm a suitable delivery time slot. Rural, interstate & international deliveries will be dispatched and a consignment note is emailed to you for Track & Trace the chosen courier's website. It is the courier procedure to send an SMS or call to the receiver confirming a delivery. 

For international shipments, our pieces are securely packed in heavy-duty, recyclable cardboard crates to meet global shipping standards. Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive regular updates to track your shipment’s journey right to your doorstep. Delivery times may vary depending on your choice of shipping—either sea freight or air freight—and the destination country. We are committed to ensuring a safe and smooth delivery experience for all our international customers.

Please ensure when taking delivery to check the packaging has not been damaged in transit. If damaged, do not take delivery and return the package with the driver. If the driver won’t take the package, write damaged and do not sign.
