This maple swirl is inspired by walks through Caulfield Park in Autumn where the giant oak trees drop piles of of rust coloured leaves on ground. When the wind picks up, little whirl-pools of Autumn leaves emerge. We just love how the rusty metal emulates the colours of Autumn and maple leaves. This sculpture can also be lit from within, making it cast the most enchanting shadows and shapes on surrounding surfaces at night.
