Client Project: Angela's Flower Sculpture
Creativity meets resourcefulness
Earlier this month we asked our subscribers to share with us how they've incorporated our metal art designs in their outdoor spaces.
The response has been overwhelming and we have been so inspired by everyone's creativity.
The first project we would like to share with you is from Angela in Adelaide who incorporated our Entanglements Flower Sculpture and recycled timber to create a gorgeous centrepiece in her garden.
Here's Angela's story:
“I drove over to Melbourne from Adelaide to pick up my sculpture in 2017, incorporating a trip to Daylesford and the Grampians on the way home.
I salvaged a gum tree branch from a pile of wood cuttings in a local park, sawed it to the right size, used a post hole digger to create the hole for the branch to sit in. I probably should have waterproofed the branch, but I was too impatient to get the sculpture in place!
Using Dad's old manual drill, I put a hole in the branch and mounted the sculpture and wa-la, it was in place in my back garden. I planted around the sculpture and the as you can see, the ivy has gradually grown around it.
I love it!
Hope you enjoy the photos!”
Thank you Angela for sharing your experience and happy snaps from your garden project.
We are impressed by your resourcefulness in using a tree branch to prop up the sculpture and the ivy really sets it off. We also love that you took a detour through Victoria’s Spa Country and Grampians region on your round trip from Melbourne back to Adelaide, it’s a beautiful part of the world!
Do you have a project using our metal art that you’d like to share with the Entanglements online community?
Please send them through along with a brief description to email@example.com
